Food and wine in a Medieval town

Pilgrims who traveled along the Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome would stop along the way to rest.

The medieval town of Tuscania

Your english-speaking driver will pick you up at your hotel in Rome and whisk you away from the chaos of the city

The route of pilgrimages from Canterbury to Rome crossed the territory of Viterbo and the town of Montefiascone. We will visit the Castle Rock and its gardens, with spectacular views on Lake Bolsena and the surrounding valleys. We will then walk along some of the original Via Francigena to get to a historically popular local winery. A manager of the farm and a sommelier will welcome you upon your arrival. Guided tours of the farm include the vineyard, the location where the grapes are processed, and the cellars. The walls are old but young at heart; where the wine rests until it is ready to be served during the tasting prepared for you.

Lunch on demand at the restaurant is a meal of typical local dishes and specialties

Guided tour of the charming village of Tuscania and Belvedere ...

The population of this town dates back to the Bronze Age, every era has left its mark,
that there are now returned as the brush strokes of an artist in a painting.

Among the most beautiful churches of San Pietro, preferred by Zeffirelli in "Romeo and Juliet"
